Wolverine Pipe Line Company
Named after a powerful weasel (the mascot of the University of Michigan), Wolverine Pipe Line transports a range of refined petroleum products across the US Midwest. It operates more than 630 miles of six-inch to 18-inch diameter pipeline which stretches through Illinois, Indiana, and Michigan. Wolverine Pipe Line's system also includes 12 pumping stations and transports more than 350,000 barrels (or 14.7 million gallons) of refined products a day. The company also supplies about 30% of Michigan's refined petroleum products. Wolverine Pipe Line was incorporated in 1952.
